Yasuo, the Unforgiven, is a champion in the popular online game League of Legends. Known for his incredible swordsmanship and wind-based abilities, Yasuo has become a fan-favorite since his release in 2013. As with many champions in League of Legends, Yasuo has received various skins over the years, each offering a unique visual and thematic twist to his character. One such skin is the 'High Noon Yasuo' skin, which was released on August 1, 2018.
The 'High Noon Yasuo' skin takes Yasuo's character and places him in a Wild West-inspired setting. With this skin, Yasuo becomes a gunslinger, donning a cowboy hat, a duster coat, and a pair of revolvers. The skin features intricate details, such as bullet belts, spurs, and a bandana covering Yasuo's face. The color palette of the skin is predominantly brown and beige, reflecting the dusty and rugged nature of the Wild West.
One of the standout features of the 'High Noon Yasuo' skin is the visual effects it brings to Yasuo's abilities. His Q ability, Steel Tempest, transforms his sword into a revolver, shooting bullets instead of slashing with a blade. The tornado created by his ultimate ability, Last Breath, takes the form of a swirling dust storm, adding to the Wild West aesthetic. The skin also includes unique recall animations and sound effects, further immersing players into the High Noon Yasuo experience.
Yasuo's 'High Noon' skin is not just a visual change; it also adds a layer of storytelling to the champion's lore. In the League of Legends universe, the High Noon skins represent an alternate reality where champions are reimagined as Wild West heroes and villains. In this alternate reality, Yasuo becomes a lone gunslinger seeking redemption for his past sins. The 'High Noon Yasuo' skin captures this narrative by showcasing Yasuo as a rugged and mysterious figure, haunted by his past and driven by a desire for justice.
Yasuo, as a champion, has a rich backstory within the League of Legends lore. He hails from Ionia, a land of harmony and balance. Yasuo was once a respected swordsman, but his life took a tragic turn when he was accused of murdering his master. Branded as a traitor, Yasuo embarked on a journey to clear his name and find the true culprit. Along the way, he discovered his innate ability to control the wind, which he uses to devastating effect in battle.
In the game, Yasuo is classified as a melee fighter and assassin. He excels at dealing high burst damage and has exceptional mobility, making him a formidable force on the battlefield. His passive ability, Way of the Wanderer, grants him a shield when moving, while his Q ability, Steel Tempest, allows him to unleash whirlwinds that damage and knock up enemies. His W ability, Wind Wall, creates a barrier that blocks incoming projectiles, providing both defensive and offensive utility.
Yasuo's ultimate ability, Last Breath, is a game-changer. When activated, Yasuo dashes through the air and suspends all enemies hit by the ability, setting them up for devastating follow-up attacks from his teammates. This ability, combined with his mobility and damage output, makes Yasuo a force to be reckoned with in team fights.
Despite his strengths, Yasuo also has weaknesses. He is a squishy champion, meaning he has low health and can be easily burst down if caught out of position. Additionally, Yasuo's abilities require precise timing and positioning to maximize their effectiveness. Players must be skilled at maneuvering around the battlefield and timing their abilities correctly to truly unleash Yasuo's potential.
Yasuo has become an iconic champion in League of Legends, loved by many players for his high skill ceiling and flashy playstyle. His 'High Noon Yasuo' skin adds an extra layer of excitement and immersion to his character, allowing players to experience the Wild West fantasy while dominating their opponents on the Rift.

Lore:
An Ionian of deep resolve, Yasuo is an agile swordsman who wields the air itself against his enemies. As a proud young man, he was falsely accused of murdering his master—unable to prove his innocence, he was forced to slay his own brother in self defense. Even after his master's true killer was revealed, Yasuo still could not forgive himself for all he had done, and now wanders his homeland with only the wind to guide his blade.
Ally tips:
Dash through a minion to have Sweeping Blade available to chase your opponent should they flee; Dash directly to your opponent to preserve a minion as your escape route. Enemy tips:
Steel Tempest is very narrow. Dodge laterally if possible. When Yasuo lands two Steel Tempests in a row, his next will fire a tornado. Watch and listen for the associated sound to prepare to dodge.Yasuo is at his weakest just after he has launched a whirlwind. Engage at that point.Yasuo's shield from Resolve lasts only 2 seconds. Dealing damage to him will trigger it. Wait it out, then engage.
