Twitch - Vandal Twitch
Twitch (Vandal Twitch)
RP Cost: 975 RP
Release Date: November 29, 2011
Twitch, the Plague Rat, is a champion in the popular online game League of Legends. Known for his sneaky and deadly playstyle, Twitch has become a favorite among players who enjoy playing as an assassin. With his Vandal Twitch skin, he takes on a new and edgy look that perfectly matches his mischievous nature.
The Vandal Twitch skin was released on November 29, 2011, and is available for purchase in the in-game store for 975 RP. This skin gives Twitch a rebellious and punk-inspired appearance, transforming him into a graffiti artist who is ready to cause chaos on the Rift.
With the Vandal Twitch skin, Twitch's default appearance is completely revamped. He ditches his traditional rat-like appearance for a more humanoid look, wearing a black leather jacket adorned with graffiti tags and a matching pair of pants. His tail is now wrapped in barbed wire, adding to his dangerous and menacing presence. Twitch's crossbow is also given a makeover, with a new graffiti design and a more rugged and worn-out look.
One of the standout features of the Vandal Twitch skin is the addition of new visual effects. When Twitch activates his Ambush ability, he leaves behind a trail of graffiti as he sneaks around the map. This adds a unique and visually appealing element to his gameplay, making him even more enjoyable to play as.
As for Twitch's story, he is a yordle from Zaun, a city known for its dark and dangerous underbelly. Twitch was once a normal sewer rat, but he was exposed to toxic waste that mutated him into the creature he is today. He thrives in the shadows, using his stealth and poison to take down his enemies.
In the game, Twitch is classified as a marksman and is primarily played in the bot lane as an ADC (Attack Damage Carry). His playstyle revolves around positioning himself strategically to deal damage from a safe distance. Twitch's passive ability, Deadly Venom, allows him to apply stacks of poison to his enemies, which can then be activated with his other abilities for additional damage. His ultimate ability, Rat-Ta-Tat-Tat, allows him to spray a hail of bullets in a cone, dealing damage to all enemies in its path.
While Twitch excels at dealing damage from a distance, he is also quite fragile and vulnerable to crowd control. He relies heavily on his stealth ability, Ambush, to position himself and surprise his enemies. However, he can be easily caught out if not played carefully. Additionally, Twitch's early game can be challenging, as he lacks the range and damage of other ADC champions. However, if he manages to survive the laning phase and reach his power spikes, he becomes a formidable force in team fights.
If you're interested in learning more about Twitch and his various appearances in the game, you can find more information and videos on his champion page on the official League of Legends website. Whether you prefer the classic look or the rebellious Vandal Twitch skin, Twitch offers a unique and exciting gameplay experience for those who enjoy playing as a stealthy and deadly assassin.
Lore:
A Zaunite plague rat by birth, but a connoisseur of filth by passion, Twitch is not afraid to get his paws dirty. Aiming a chem-powered crossbow at the gilded heart of Piltover, he has vowed to show those in the city above just how filthy they really are. Always a sneaky sneak, when he's not rooting around in the Sump, he's digging deep into other people's garbage for discarded treasures… and perhaps a moldy sandwich.
Ally tips:
Twitch's Attack Speed is among the highest in the game; try purchasing items with on-hit effects such as Black Cleaver or Wit's End. Contaminate has a large range; apply as many stacks of Deadly Venom as possible before using it. You can catch up to an enemy out of attack range with Venom Cask.
Enemy tips:
Twitch is fragile. Work with teammates to focus on him when you're able to catch him out of Camouflage.Spell Shields won't block the damage from Deadly Venom, but they will block the effects Twitch can trigger with it.If you suspect Twitch has left the lane, let your teammates know that Twitch is ''MIA.''
