Pyke - Soul Fighter Pyke
Pyke (Soul Fighter Pyke)
RP: 1350 | Release Date: June 6, 2019
Pyke, the Bloodharbor Ripper, is known for his ruthless and deadly nature. With his eerie appearance and haunting abilities, he strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies. However, there is a side to Pyke that few have seen - a side that embraces the darkness within him. This is where the Soul Fighter Pyke skin comes into play.
Soul Fighter Pyke is a skin that delves deeper into Pyke's connection with the souls of his victims. It transforms him into a spectral warrior, ready to unleash his vengeance upon the Summoner's Rift. The skin features a unique color palette, with shades of blue and purple dominating his appearance. His armor is adorned with ethereal patterns, giving him an otherworldly aura.
One of the standout features of the Soul Fighter Pyke skin is his weapon. Instead of his usual bone saw, Pyke wields a spectral scythe. The scythe glows with an eerie light, and its design perfectly complements Pyke's spectral theme. As he slashes through his enemies, the scythe leaves behind a trail of ghostly energy, adding to the skin's overall aesthetic.
In addition to his weapon, Pyke's abilities also receive a visual overhaul with the Soul Fighter Pyke skin. His Q ability, Bone Skewer, now emits a ghostly trail as it travels through the air. When it hits an enemy, the impact creates a burst of spectral energy. His W ability, Ghostwater Dive, transforms him into a ghostly apparition, leaving behind a trail of ethereal mist. The E ability, Phantom Undertow, sends out spectral chains that latch onto enemies, pulling them towards Pyke. Finally, his ultimate ability, Death from Below, unleashes a wave of ghostly energy that deals massive damage to enemies in its path.
Now that we've explored the details of the Soul Fighter Pyke skin, let's take a moment to delve into Pyke's story and his place in the League of Legends universe.
Pyke was once a humble fisherman named Pyke Maelstrom, living in the port city of Bilgewater. However, his life took a dark turn when he was betrayed by his crewmates and left for dead at the bottom of the ocean. Miraculously, Pyke did not die. Instead, he was transformed by the creatures of the deep, becoming a vengeful revenant.
Now known as the Bloodharbor Ripper, Pyke prowls the streets of Bilgewater, seeking revenge on those who wronged him. He hunts down his former crewmates, using his spectral abilities to strike fear into their hearts. Pyke's ultimate goal is to cleanse Bilgewater of its corruption, one kill at a time.
In the game, Pyke is a support champion with a unique playstyle. His abilities allow him to engage in fights, deal damage, and execute low-health enemies. His passive ability, Gift of the Drowned Ones, allows him to regenerate health when he is unseen by enemies. This makes him a formidable opponent, as he can quickly heal up and re-engage in fights.
Pyke's strengths lie in his ability to catch enemies off guard and quickly burst them down. His Q ability, Bone Skewer, is a skillshot that can hook enemies and stun them, setting up kills for his team. His E ability, Phantom Undertow, allows him to dash through enemies, damaging and slowing them. Finally, his ultimate ability, Death from Below, allows him to execute enemies below a certain threshold of health, resetting the ability if he successfully eliminates a target.
However, Pyke also has weaknesses that players must be aware of. He is relatively squishy and lacks sustained damage. His abilities have high cooldowns, making him vulnerable during their downtime. Additionally, Pyke relies heavily on snowballing and securing kills to be effective. If he falls behind, he can struggle to have an impact on the game.
Overall, Pyke is a unique and exciting champion to play. His dark backstory and haunting appearance make him a fan-favorite among League of Legends players. Whether you're looking to unleash your vengeance as the Bloodharbor Ripper or explore his spectral side with the Soul Fighter Pyke skin, Pyke offers a thrilling and rewarding gameplay experience.

Lore:
A renowned harpooner from the slaughter docks of Bilgewater, Pyke should have met his death in the belly of a gigantic jaull-fish… and yet, he returned. Now, stalking the dank alleys and backways of his former hometown, he uses his new supernatural gifts to bring a swift and gruesome end to those who make their fortune by exploiting others—and a city that prides itself on hunting monsters now finds a monster hunting them.
Ally tips:
Pyke is very fragile so don't be afraid to temporarily run from a fight. You can regenerate a significant amount of health from Gift of the Drowned Ones when enemies can't see you. Hitting an enemy with the Hold version of Bone Skewer will always pull them the same distance. Use it in melee range to throw targets behind you. The Tap version of Bone Skewer is much faster and deals additional damage. A lot of your agressive spells are also your escapes. Make sure you always have a plan to get out of the fight.
Enemy tips:
Pyke regenerates a significant amount of damage he has taken from enemy champions, but only when you can't see him! When Pyke is hidden nearby in his Ghostwater Dive, sharks will circle underneath your feet.Try not to stand near low health allies. If Pyke executes them using Death From Below, you might be next on the list.
