League of Legends is known for its vast array of champions, each with their own unique abilities and captivating stories. One such champion is Pyke, a fearsome assassin who stalks the depths of the sea. Pyke's latest skin, 'Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke,' offers players a stunning new look for this deadly champion.
The Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke skin was released in June 2019 and can be obtained by spending 100 Prestige Points. This exclusive skin is a testament to Pyke's prowess as a merciless killer, featuring intricate details and a striking color palette that sets it apart from his other appearances.
As players equip the Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke skin, they will notice the transformation of Pyke's appearance. His usual dark and tattered attire is replaced with a more refined and regal outfit, adorned with golden accents and intricate patterns. The skin also introduces new visual effects, such as shimmering golden trails that follow Pyke's movements, adding an extra layer of elegance to his deadly strikes.
One of the most notable aspects of the Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke skin is the inclusion of unique sound effects. As Pyke unleashes his abilities, players will hear the distinct sound of clashing swords and the haunting echoes of the deep sea. These audio enhancements further immerse players in the world of Pyke, making each kill feel even more satisfying.
Pyke, the Bloodharbor Ripper, has a captivating backstory that adds depth to his character. Once a humble fisherman named Pyke Mainsail, he met a tragic end at the hands of his greedy crewmates. Instead of finding peace in death, Pyke was resurrected by the vengeful spirit of the drowned, transforming him into an undead assassin.
With his newfound abilities, Pyke seeks revenge on those who wronged him, lurking in the shadows and striking fear into the hearts of his enemies. His unique playstyle revolves around his ability to swiftly eliminate targets and escape unscathed, making him a formidable force on the battlefield.
Pyke's strengths lie in his high burst damage and mobility. His Q ability, Bone Skewer, allows him to hook enemies and pull them towards him, setting up devastating combos. His E ability, Phantom Undertow, grants him increased movement speed and the ability to dash through enemies, making it easier for him to engage or disengage from fights. Additionally, his ultimate ability, Death from Below, allows him to execute low-health enemies and reset its cooldown if the kill is successful, enabling him to chain multiple executions in team fights.
However, Pyke also has weaknesses that players must be mindful of. He is relatively squishy and lacks sustained damage, making him vulnerable in prolonged engagements. Additionally, his abilities consume a significant amount of mana, requiring careful resource management to avoid running out during crucial moments.
In the world of League of Legends, Pyke has found his place as a fearsome assassin and a popular pick in both professional and casual play. His unique playstyle and captivating lore have made him a fan-favorite among players, and the Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke skin offers a visually stunning way to showcase his deadly skills.

Lore:
A renowned harpooner from the slaughter docks of Bilgewater, Pyke should have met his death in the belly of a gigantic jaull-fish… and yet, he returned. Now, stalking the dank alleys and backways of his former hometown, he uses his new supernatural gifts to bring a swift and gruesome end to those who make their fortune by exploiting others—and a city that prides itself on hunting monsters now finds a monster hunting them.
Ally tips:
Pyke is very fragile so don't be afraid to temporarily run from a fight. You can regenerate a significant amount of health from Gift of the Drowned Ones when enemies can't see you. Hitting an enemy with the Hold version of Bone Skewer will always pull them the same distance. Use it in melee range to throw targets behind you. The Tap version of Bone Skewer is much faster and deals additional damage. A lot of your agressive spells are also your escapes. Make sure you always have a plan to get out of the fight.
Enemy tips:
Pyke regenerates a significant amount of damage he has taken from enemy champions, but only when you can't see him! When Pyke is hidden nearby in his Ghostwater Dive, sharks will circle underneath your feet.Try not to stand near low health allies. If Pyke executes them using Death From Below, you might be next on the list.
